ABSTRACT: Effective protocols for in vitro rooting woody fruit trees are still a challenge seedling production, especially when there is need to insert new cultivars or rootstocks. These essential accelerate studies plant breeding programs and distribution. This study evaluated the use of 6-Benzylaminopurine (IBA) Pyruscomunnis rootstocks, clones ‘OHxF87’ Pyrodwarf. Explant exposure times (0, 24, 48, 72, 96 hours) 20 mg L-1 IBA were tested rooting. The resulted rates above 80%, surpassing some results reported literature. 24-hour treatment provided 81,81% survival, leading an average growth five roots with 19 mm length, rootstock. same time highest survival rate (75%) mean root number, seven per 10 ‘PDW’ Root formation did not occur absence synthetic auxin. Therefore, it can be concluded that at was sufficient promote Pyrodwarf rootstocks’.
